Young Carers Action Day: A Well-Deserved Break for Our WE CARE Students

On March 12, we celebrated Young Carers Action Day, with this year's theme being "Take a Break." To honour the occasion, we gave our WE CARE students the opportunity to unwind and enjoy a variety of activities.

During tutor time, students gathered in the canteen to play card games designed by a local student from Plymstock School and generously donated by More or Less. After school, they had an exciting afternoon either bowling at Tenpin, baking cookies, making fruit salad, playing card games, or enjoying outdoor games on the basketball court.

The students had a fantastic time, socialising with peers and taking a well-earned break from their responsibilities. Many were already asking about our next event! Seeing so many happy and engaged faces reminded us of the importance of supporting our young carers, and we are committed to being there for them every step of the way.
