Students at Post 16 aim to complete a minimum of one hour of independent learning for each hour of taught input. Post 16 timetables include up to 8 hours of Independent Study time in year 12, and up to 10 in year 13. Add in an hour a day at home or after school in the study pods, and you've got this!

This sounds like a lot, but actually it's the same as an average working week and , if you plan well, you can organise it so most of it gets done in the school day, leaving you plenty of time for fun, family and fresh air.
