Celebration Evening: A Night of Recognition and Pride

Many of our students were recognised for their achievements at our recent celebration evening.
Wednesday this week saw the return of our annual Celebration Evening, a special occasion dedicated to recognising the achievements of our students and celebrating how they have embodied our core school values of Community, Integrity, and Opportunity.
The evening was a wonderful showcase of student success across all year groups. In each year, students were recognised for their efforts and excellence in individual subjects, with nominations made by subject departments in recognition of hard work, progress, and passion for learning.
Beyond the classroom, we celebrated the many students who have truly made the most of the opportunities available through our wide range of extra-curricular activities. From sports and performing arts to clubs and community projects, these students have shown a real commitment to exploring new interests, developing their talents, and contributing to school life.
Each year group also saw two special awards presented: the Pastoral Award, recognising students who exemplify kindness, resilience, and support for others; and the prestigious Headteacher’s Award, awarded to those who have gone above and beyond in their contribution to school life and consistently shown our values in action.
Each award winner was presented with a certificate, a personalised citation thoughtfully written by their nominating teacher, and a well-deserved Easter Egg as a small token of celebration and recognition.
It was a fantastic evening filled with pride, applause, and a real sense of community. We are incredibly proud of all our students and look forward to seeing how they continue to grow and thrive.
Thank you to all the families, staff, and students who joined us to make the evening so memorable – and once again, congratulations to our incredible award winners!
