The Year 7 football squad made an excellent start to their central venue campaign at Plymstock earlier this week. Due to the large numbers attending training, we have entered two teams this year and both performed outstandingly. 

Out of the 5 games played by both teams, Coombe Dean secured 4 victories, notably a result against Plympton Academy after disappointingly being knocked out of The Plymouth Cup by them just the evening before! 

A whole host of impressive individual performances, but the most impressive thing from the evening was how the students took responsibility for their own substitutions so that all players had a fair amount of game time - we are really proud of how this particular group of students has made such a brilliant start to their Coombe Dean careers.
