Parents and Carers are required to notify the Attendance Officer as early possible every day of a child’s absence, and by no later than 09.30 am.

Reporting Absence

You can leave a message on the Absence Line, Tel: 01752 485450, and leave a message, or you can email attendance@coombedean.co.uk.

You are required to inform the school on the day your child will be absent from school and on subsequent days of absenteeism.

Failure to do this could result in the absence being unauthorised.

The Attendance Officer will contact you if your child is not in school and no contact has been made by you to notify us of their absence. The welfare of your child is our utmost concern. Please make sure that you notify us of any changes to your contact details.

Children missing education is a safeguarding concern and will be dealt with accordingly by school staff.
